Faith and efficiency are the core values of Tegeta Motors. Having adopted these values, the company has been developing for over 22 years and has emerged as market leader. We consider that in order to grow and develop further while embracing these values, both environmental and social commitments are crucial. We feel accountable to our shareowners and regularly disclose information on our corporate activities.


Environmental Protection
Tegeta Motors recognizes that its operations have both direct and indirect impact on the environment and through various activities it strives towards becoming more environmentally-friendly organization. For this reason, one of the main goals in 2018 is to obtain ISO 14001: 2015 - Environmental Management System. We believe that through this we can better measure the impact on the environment and implement effective management processes.


Social Responsibility

Tegeta Motors continuously strives to make a difference in the lives of people through its products and services. The proof of this are some of the activities that the company implemented in the past years and plans for future years:

 

♦     As Georgia faces air pollution, in 2016 Tegeta Motors launched CSR project “AR GAMBOLO”. Through this campaign customers could check their cars on emission free of charge; if successfully passed they would receive special gifts (e.g. certificate, sticker, etc.). In case the result was negative customers were granted 50% price discount on fixing their emission system.

 

♦     Tegeta Motors pays special attention on training and skill development of its staff. In 2013 the Company established Tegeta Academy, the purpose of which is to develop the staff through theoretical and practical training. With support from global partners, every year Tegeta carries out more than 80 training courses in Tbilisi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Batumi. Every year more than 700 applications are submitted in the academy. The program is based on European model and constitutes a work-based learning. The training courses are conducted by both local and foreign trainers from the world's leading auto industry brands such as Motul, Porsche, Toyota, etc. Throughout 2017 around 200 people have been trained in the Training Center Tegeta Academy, out of which 114 were employed in various branches of Tegeta Motors. Since 2017 the Training Center exists as a separate legal entity, and is now preparing to obtain the authorization as vocational education institution.

♦    Seeing employee’s health and safety as a priority, in 2018 Tegeta Motors intends to obtain ISO 18001: 2007 - The Labor Safety and Health Management System. This will help to identify, control and decrease the risks associated with health and safety of the workplace.
